Worth More than Gold
My life has always been about inspiring and helping others on my adventure through the battles, triumphs, vulnerability, strength and pure grit to keep my feet on this earth. This is what keeps me fighting every day.
I have been an athlete for 24 years in multiple disciplines. The only way to describe this life is one of a trampoline. The constant bouncing up and down, occasional double bounce, miss bounce, attempted flips, landing on the springs or face first on the ground. The one thing that happens is, no matter how much it hurts coming off, you get back on as it's so much fun and you are determined to nail that flip.
The gold medals I hold in my hand today symbolise so much more than that of colour. It the symbol of never giving up no matter how many times you fail or fall.
Being open through my battles has made me somewhat of the peoples champion. Giving others hope and inspiration that they too can survive what life throws at them.
It's not about the winning, but surviving your own hell to come out the other side a winner by surviving
I have always strived to better the person I am.
No one is perfect.
I live by my values, and pride myself on my words and actions are congruent.
If my openness can save a life or inspire someone to change theirs? This is what Cindy Rella's Legacy is about.
It is what my bands are about.
Connecting us all, knowing no matter what someone is there that understands.
